Hey everyone,
It's been a while since my last blog post, and I wanted to check in with a quick life update and a heads up about what’s been going on behind the scenes.
This summer has been nothing short of hectic. Between family reunions, family deaths, lake days, pool days, sick days, job interviews, and finding out I'm being published (more on that as soon as I can!), it feels like I've been running a marathon. There have been highs and lows, moments of joy, and periods of sorrow, all wrapped up in a whirlwind of activity.
I recently had a couple of very promising job interviews with some interesting companies. While I've thoroughly enjoyed this unexpected time off, I also have my eye on the future. Specifically, I’m dreaming of spending an obscene amount of money on books when I visit London. And let’s be honest, to make that dream come true, we do what we have to.
Family has been a big focus lately, with both reunions that brought smiles and reconnecting with loved ones, and unfortunately, final farewells. Navigating these emotional waters has been challenging, but also a reminder of the importance of cherishing the time we have with those we love.
Amidst all the chaos, I've managed to steal a few moments of peace in nature. Whether it's a lazy day by the lake, a refreshing dip in the pool, or a quiet walk with Molly, these moments have been my sanctuary. They’ve offered me a chance to breathe, reflect, and find inspiration in the beauty around me.
I want to thank you all for your patience and understanding. It might be a bit before my next blog post, but rest assured, I have plenty of stories, reflections, and ideas brewing. This time off has been a period of growth and learning, and I’m excited to share more with you soon.
In the meantime, I hope you all are finding your own moments of peace and joy in this busy world. Take care, and I’ll be back with more updates and musings before you know it.
Stay tuned, stay inspired, and stay connected.
